Is he not the most adorable little baby in the world?!? Ok, so I may be biased. He’s my nephew. I got the privilege to babysit him daily for about 3 months this fall.

    I absolutely love this kid!

I’ve known Jenny for a long time through church. She is the most sweet, shy girl I know. I absolutely love her little laugh (actually, I would consider it a giggle). We split her session into two evenings. It was two great evenings for me. Jenny’s one who doesn’t smile unless you put a little effort into  and I have to give a shout out to her for listening to my horrible jokes. She may not have loved my jokes, but I love her photos.

Tony is my big and only brother. I love him to pieces. Tony and Rachel met through mutual friends online. I never heard the whole story until I went to one of Rachel’s showers. Man, it was a lot cuter than I thought it was (being online, and all). They dated for quite a while and this past spring Tony popped the question! Rachel is not only beautiful, she is an amazing person.
Rachel wanted the reception to be outside, and even though it was quite warm out, it was a beautiful reception under a beautiful white tent. Tony and Rachel were surprised by their parents’ gift to them… Floating lanterns. Like the ones in Tangled. They absolutely loved it.
Rachel also wanted pictures taken by an old church on a lake. She showed me the place a couple nights before and was so unsure of how it would work out. I told her it was going to be great! And man, it sure was. The pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Here’s a few pictures from Tony and Rachel’s big day.

    Welcome to the family, Rachel!

I was told that Abby wasn’t really looking forward to her senior pictures, but I could hardly tell during her session. She was willing to do any crazy thing I asked of her and I even got her to laugh quite often and enjoy herself. This session was super fun. She is adorable and holy cow she has a bright smile and gorgeous eyes.

Here are some photos from Abby’s senior session. Enjoy!

This session was a fun one for me. David’s mom, who came along, is best friends with my mother. It was good to catch up and get to know David a little better. David is very involved in marching band, which was fun to hear about since I was a marching band-er myself. I think the only thing I really miss about high school is band. And yes, I am a band geek. And proud of it.

Here’s a few photos from David’s senior session. Enjoy!

Brewer Family | Sioux Falls, SD Family & Children Photography

    Sunday, June 26, 2011

The Brewer family was such a blast. We went to a park with both a wooded area and a playground (which Kyera loved!). Rachelle is 6 months pregnant, but you can hardly tell. She’s one of those lucky women who hardly show. Her baby bump is quite adorable if you ask me. Rachelle and Josh both work for Lifelight, which is a non-profit organization that puts on festivals, tours, and mission trips. Josh and Rachelle both work in the missions department and are currently planning a trip to Haiti. Rachelle also is pursuing a music career as a Christian artist. Check out her facebook page here!
They also have the most adorable daughter. Kyera is not only adorable though, she is one tough girl. During their session she fell quite hard and cut up her knee. She didn’t even cry, though! She was so set on getting to the playground.

Here’s a few pictures from their session!

I had the honor to take pictures for my brother, Tony, and his wonderful future wife, Rachel this past spring. Tony is my big brother, and man alive did he get a great catch. Rachel is such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I am so excited for their wedding coming up in July! Tony and Rachel have been dating for quite a while and I kept wondering when he’d propose. Well, he did (obviously). And when he called to tell me the great news, I squealed with joy. I may squeal with joy every once in a while, but not that often. Let’s just say I am so excited for Tony and Rachel. They are made for each other!
